Airport / Ports Of Entry

services_01

There are approximately 472 federally controlled airports in the U.S. carrying over 809 million passengers per year. All must comply with the Department of the Interior (DoI) Aviation Security Plan that is enforced by the Transportation Safety Administration. The plan outlines specific physical perimeter security measures defined by the size and location of the airport.

FutureNet Security Solutions™ understands that the security of airports is an integral part of a total aviation security model. We have worked with major airports to assess and define the appropriate security model, and have integrated our award-winning products into a comprehensive plan to protect airports against potential threats.

In addition to airports, train terminals, ferry ports, and ports of entry offer the same unique challenges. Ferries are a vital component of the U.S. transportation system, carrying more than 82 million passengers and over 25 million vehicles per year. Ferries are also potential targets for terrorism in the United States and have been terrorist targets overseas. A recent study conducted by the U.S. Coast Guard stated that the relative terrorist risk to ferries is increasing.

Our security solutions for airports and ports of entry have ranged from $15,000 to $2 million, showcasing our ability to work with airports on the appropriate scope and solution to their security needs.
