Smith & Wesson Security Solutions™ Recognized with a GSN Homeland Security Award for Two Consecutive Years
Smith & Wesson Security Solutions™ is a leading turnkey provider of perimeter security solutions. In fact, the company won the 2010 Government Security News (GSN) Homeland Security Award for “Best Crash Barrier” (Gates, Fences, Bollards, and Guard Booths). The award was based upon the company’s Expeditionary Mobile Barrier (EMB™) and was presented at the GSN 2010 Homeland Security Awards Ceremony in Washington, DC on November 8th, 2010. This is the second consecutive year that a Smith & Wesson Security Solutions™ barrier has been recognized with a GSN Homeland Security Award.
Judging in the category was based on a combination of factors, including a demonstrable increase in customer organization security; technological innovation and/or improvement; the ability to fill a recognized government physical security need; cost reduction; and, efficiency improvements.

ASIS invited exhibitors at the ASIS International 55th Annual Seminar and Exhibits to submit new technology, product or service solutions for evaluation and judging for the first annual Accolades competition.
A team of judges representing end users and experts in security technologies evaluated more than 130 entries before selecting the top 10 winners. ASIS Accolades are solutions oriented, not product specific.
